Nashville Union Rescue Mission
THE PROGRAM (IN PROGRESS)
Our first Pasta with a Purpose program began with Nashville Rescue Mission in 2016, offering companies the opportunity to partner in supporting our city’s primary homeless outreach shelter and answering the Mission’s question “Who’s at Your Table?”
HOW IT WORKS
- Employees at participating companies have the opportunity to directly purchase fresh, delicious Alfresco pasta at work.
- The Alfresco pasta staff manages the orders and delivers pasta to each business location for weekly employee pickup.
- Every purchase results in a direct donation to feeding the hungry in Nashville by supporting the work of Nashville Rescue Mission.
PROMISING RESULTS
At launch, our first Pasta with Purpose program has attracted several participating companies and projects rapid sales, with 40-50% of total profits donated monthly to Nashville Rescue Mission’s general fund.
